As the only laboratory of its kind in the state of Uttar Pradesh, it is equipped with advanced tools and resources including functional magnetic resonance imaging, behavioral assessment methods, and transcranial direct current stimulation.
The lab conducts research in neuroscience to understand brain function across healthy and clinical populations, with a focus on early diagnosis, treatment development, and translational insight.
Brain Research
We use non-invasive technologies such as functional and structural MRI to explore cognitive functions including attention, memory, and language, and to map structural and functional connectivity networks in clinical and healthy groups.
With a greater understanding of how the brain functions, this work can help clinicians develop more effective ways to treat patients with neurological and psychiatric disorders.
