Dr. Kumar is a neuroimaging and cognitive neuroscience researcher whose work integrates clinical neuroscience, language systems, sensory processing, and large-scale brain network organization within a unified neurobiological framework. His interdisciplinary training spanning audiology and speech sciences, psychotherapy-informed clinical practice, and neurolinguistic research provides a translational perspective linking communication, cognition, perception, and psychiatric phenomena to underlying neural mechanisms. With extensive postdoctoral research training across leading institutions in Singapore, the United States, and India, his work focuses on multimodal neuroimaging, computational neuroscience, and brain-behavior relationships across development, sensory plasticity, and clinical conditions.
